Depending upon the client’s condition, provider orders, and the services included under our Florida home health agency license, skilled nursing care may include:

• Nursing assessments and individualized care planning
• Medication administration, monitoring, and education
• Vital-sign and symptom monitoring
• Chronic-condition support
• Post-hospital and post-rehabilitation nursing care
• Post-surgical monitoring and recovery support
• Wound assessment, treatment, and dressing changes
• Injections and other physician-ordered treatments
• Catheter or ostomy care
• Communication with physicians, specialists, therapists, and family members
• Client and family education
• Extended-hour or 24-hour nursing coverage when available
